After three weeks of consecutive snowfall we had a brilliant bluebird day and the allure of Yotei called to us. The next day in slightly less incredible weather Jack and I went up the North East face. This was a new route for me but I definitely prefer it over the Hangetsu-Ko route. We summited but didn’t drop the crater. It would’ve taken too long to traverse around and I had to get back to work by 3pm. The snow wasn’t that deep but it was blower and fresh. Check out the video I made.
